More than 5,600 LGBTQ Southerners responded to the Southern LGBTQ Health Survey, administered by the Campaign for Southern Equality and Western North Carolina Community Health Services to gain insights into LGBTQ mental and physical health in the U.S. South. The report sheds light on the barriers to quality care many in the South face, as well as the ways in which LGBTQ Southerners are taking positive change into their own hands.
