Health and Socioeconomic Well-Being of LBQ Women in the U.S.

The majority of the LGBTQ community identifies as women and girls. Yet the lives and experiences of lesbian, bisexual, and queer (LBQ) women and girls are severely underrepresented topics in public discourse in the United States. “Health and Socioeconomic Well-Being of LBQ Women in the US,” a report by the Williams Institute, serves as a broad overview of what we know about LBQ women’s and girls’ social, economic, physical, and psychological well-being while outlining urgently needed next steps in public policy, services, and research.
