Black LGBT Adults in the U.S.

February 12, 2021|The Williams Institute
A Williams Institute report analyzes several data sources to provide information on adults in the United States who self-identify as Black and LGBT, with a particular focus on mental health, physical health, economic health, and social and cultural experiences. The report found that the Black LGBT adult population is younger and less likely to live in the South than the population of Black non-LGBT adults, as well as more likely to experience economic insecurity.
